Milan, Milan
A slow, hymn-like chant from the Curva Sud. It is sung with scarves raised, and the tempo is controlled by the capo at the front.
Milan, Milan, solo con te — Milan, Milan, sempre per te.
When it is sung
Ten minutes before kick-off and at the start of the second half. The Curva Sud turns its back to the pitch and sings to the stand opposite.
A club song is not entertainment. It sets the stadium’s tempo, signals to players that the crowd still believes, and in a silent match it can be the only pressure the away team feels.
